These Terms of Service govern your use of SEO services provided by The SEO Specialist Kenya ("we", "us", or "our"). By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Services Overview
We provide search engine optimization (SEO) services including but not limited to:
- Technical SEO audits and implementation
- On-page and off-page optimization
- Local SEO and Google Business Profile management
- Content strategy and optimization
- Link building and digital PR
- SEO training and consulting
2. Service Agreement
All SEO projects begin with a discovery call and proposal. Upon acceptance of the proposal and payment of the initial invoice, the service agreement becomes binding. Project scope, deliverables, and timelines are defined in the proposal document.
3. Payment Terms
Our standard payment terms are:
- Retainer Services: Monthly payments due by the 5th of each month
- Project Work: 50% deposit required before work begins, balance due upon completion
- Consulting: Full payment required before session
We accept M-Pesa, bank transfer, and PayPal. Late payments may result in service suspension after 14 days.
4. Client Responsibilities
To ensure successful SEO outcomes, clients agree to:
- Provide timely access to website, hosting, and analytics platforms
- Review and approve content within 5 business days
- Communicate any website changes that may affect SEO
- Refrain from implementing conflicting SEO changes without consultation
5. Results Disclaimer
SEO is a long-term strategy influenced by many factors beyond our control, including search engine algorithm changes, competitor actions, and market conditions. While we use proven methodologies and best practices, we cannot guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels, or revenue outcomes.
Typical results begin to show within 3-6 months for most projects, though this varies by industry competitiveness and website history.
6. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment:
- All content created specifically for your project becomes your property
- Our methodologies, templates, and proprietary tools remain our intellectual property
- We may use anonymized project data for case studies with your permission
7. Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality regarding your business information, analytics data, and competitive strategies. We will not share your information with third parties except as required to deliver our services (e.g., content writers, link building partners) or as required by law.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate ongoing services with 30 days written notice. Upon termination:
- Outstanding invoices become immediately due
- We will provide a transition report and handover documentation
- Access to our tools and platforms will be revoked
9. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the fees paid for services during the 3 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits or data.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Nairobi, Kenya.
